Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KHANTA (the "Software") and the website at khanta-audio.com (the "Site"), both operated by Khanta Audio, a brand of Sanre Software Development Services, a business name registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry ("we", "us", or "Khanta Audio"). By creating an account, downloading the Software, or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Software or the Site.

2. The Software

KHANTA is a real-time vocal processing plugin (VST3 and Standalone formats, Windows only) distributed as a free download. Every copy includes a Demo Mode: the Software is fully functional, but audio is muted for a few seconds on a repeating cycle until it's activated with a valid license key. Activating a license removes Demo Mode on that machine.

3. Accounts

You need an account to purchase or redeem a license. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. License grant and activation limits

A KHANTA license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and includes free updates. It grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and activate the Software on up to 2 machines at a time (Standard tier). You can deactivate a machine at any point to free up a slot and activate a different one instead. We may offer other license tiers (for example, affiliate or promotional licenses) with different limits, which will be stated at the time they're issued.

License activation requires occasional contact with our servers. If your machine is offline, an already-activated license keeps working for a grace period before it needs to reconnect.

5. What you can't do

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, sublicense, or publish your license key, or use it beyond the activation limit in section 4;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the Software's licensing or Demo Mode;
• Redistribute the installer or the Software outside of downloading it from us directly;
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose.

6. Ownership

The Software, its code, design, presets, and branding are owned by Khanta Audio / Sanre Software Development Services. Buying a license gives you the right to use the Software under these Terms — it doesn't transfer ownership of it to you.

7. Payments

Prices are shown in Philippine Pesos (₱). Payments are processed by PayMongo; we don't receive or store your full card details. Prices may change for future purchases, but won't change the price of a license you've already bought.

9. Affiliate program

If you join our affiliate program, separate terms around your referral link and commission apply in addition to these Terms. Commission is calculated on completed, non-refunded sales made through your referral link.

10. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system configuration. Use it at your own discretion, especially in a live performance setting — we'd recommend testing your setup ahead of time, the same way you would with any audio software.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Philippine law, Khanta Audio's total liability to you for any claim relating to the Software or the Site won't exceed the amount you paid for your license.

12. Termination

We may suspend or revoke a license if these Terms are violated — for example, license-key sharing beyond the activation limit. You can stop using the Software and close your account at any time.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continuing to use the Software or Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
